Calling all nature enthusiasts, gardeners, and curious minds! Get ready for a truly enchanting experience as we delve into the captivating world of mushrooms and sustainable agriculture at the “Edible Fungi in Permaculture” workshop. Led by the knowledgeable Christine Corner, creator of the local business Crave Natural and a thriving permaculture farm. This event offers a unique opportunity to explore the fascinating symbiotic relationship between mushrooms and our environment.

Imagine having the power to grow your own delicious and nutritious mushrooms right in your backyard. At the workshop, you’ll gain practical knowledge and insights that you can apply in your own garden or landscape, regardless of your level of experience. Christine will be your guide as she shares her expertise and takes you on a stroll through her diverse farm and market garden.

Be prepared to be amazed as Christine showcases innovative techniques and regenerative practices that have transformed the health and sustainability of the land. One of the day’s highlights will be a hands-on demonstration of inoculating wood for growing edible mushrooms. You’ll witness the magic of mushroom cultivation firsthand and learn about the many benefits of integrating mushrooms into your permaculture design.

But this workshop is more than just a learning experience—it’s a chance to connect with like-minded locals, soak in the beauty of nature, and enjoy a casual and friendly atmosphere. Morning tea will be provided, allowing you to relax, mingle, and share your passion for sustainable living.
