Watershed Women
The aim of the Watershed Women group is to empower women from our region by providing support, mentoring, and professional development, as well as vibrant and friendly conversation. The women involved all have diverse backgrounds, from grazing and horticulture to running their own food manufacturing plants and natural resource management.
Specialist speakers are also engaged to run workshops on different topics.
We’d love to see you at our next meeting. Want to join in? Get in touch!

Putta Bucca Landcarers
Started in 2023 by locals who wanted to make a hands-on difference to their environment. This is an ongoing partnership between Watershed Landcare and the Mid-Western Regional Council.
It is a community and volunteer-driven working group focused on revegetating and improving the beautiful Putta Bucca Wetlands in Mudgee. Many of the group members are experienced bush regenerators, horticulturalists and landcarers. If you want to get involved with Landcare and start learning about Bush Regen, native plants and caring for the environment, this is the perfect place to start.
We meet casually once per month to weed, mulch, plant, and plan. Families are encouraged to participate.

Mudgee Bee Group
The Mudgee Bee Group is a Watershed Landcare special interest group that provides training, peer support, and mentoring to aspiring apiarists.
The group is not currently active because our community hives were recently destroyed by disease. Volunteer leadership for this group is needed. If you are keen to help, please get in touch!
