Hey there, fellow nature enthusiasts, farmers, urban dwellers, and all the wonderful folks who care about the environment and creating a positive future for our community! We’ve got some exciting news to share with you, and you’re cordially invited to be a part of it!

Watershed Landcare is abuzz with excitement as we gear up for a fantastic event that’s sure to leave you with a heart full of joy, a mind full of new ideas and a belly full of delicious food! We are thrilled to announce our upcoming Open Day and Lunch at the scenic Putta Bucca Wetlands in Mudgee on Sunday, 13th August, from 10 am to 1:30 pm. Bring along your kids too; this is a family-friendly affair, and we’d love to see the younger generation embracing the marvels of nature and seeing what Landcare is all about!

But wait, there’s more! This isn’t just about a leisurely day out (though we promise it’ll be a whole lot of fun!). It’s a chance for us to come together as a community and share our dreams and visions for the future. You see, we’re working on something big here – a regional bid for the NSW Landcare Program Funding. With this funding, we’ll have even more possibilities over the next four years to provide support and to nurture our community and iconic landscape.

So, what’s in store for you on this delightful day? First off, expect to be treated to a scrumptious lunch – yes, lunch is on us! But to ensure we have enough tasty treats for everyone, we kindly request you to RSVP. Head over to our website at watershedlandcare.com.au/events and let us know you’re coming.

Now, besides good food, good company, and good vibes, we’ve got something that might pique your interest even further – fantastic lucky draw prizes! So keep your fingers crossed and your spirits high. There’s nothing like a lucky win to add a little extra delight to your day!

But most importantly, this is your chance to be heard. We want your valuable feedback and input as we work towards creating the landscape and community we all dream of. Landcare is not just a concept; it’s a movement, and we want you to be an integral part of it.

So, mark your calendars and join us. Come and enjoy nature and the thriving birdlife, have a chat with likeminded individuals and be a part of something truly special.

Don’t forget to visit our website to RSVP now and secure your spot for this one-of-a-kind community gathering. Let’s come together, celebrate Landcare Week, and create a brighter future for our region!
