Putta Bucca Landcarers
Started in 2023 by locals who wanted to make a hands-on difference to their environment. This is an ongoing partnership between Watershed Landcare and the Mid-Western Regional Council.
It is a community and volunteer-driven working group focused on revegetating and maintaining the beautiful Putta Bucca Wetlands so the wildlife and people can thrive alongside one another. Many of the group members are experienced bush regenerators, horticulturalists and landcarers. If you want to get involved with Landcare and start learning about Bush Regen, native plants and caring for the environment, this is the perfect place to start.
We meet casually on the first Saturday of each month to weed, mulch, plant, and plan. Join our dedicated volunteers to connect with nature, observe the local birdlife, and learn about plants and bush regeneration. Bring your weeding tools, a hat, gloves, water, and morning tea.
Come along and be part of our community-driven mission to preserve the Putta Bucca Wetlands. Together, we create a lasting legacy of conservation.
Families are encouraged to participate, and you can contact Anne at 0414 919 541 for inquiries.
