Gulgong High Schools New Garden Project!

We had an awesome time at the Gulgong High School working bee last Friday 6th, helping plant some native plants at the school’s new cultural gardens. Students were all hands on deck, planting and digging and spreading mulch. Raised bed gardens were built, and newly added plants were watered. We were planting some Bulbine lilies and Chocolate lilies grown by the Watershed Landcare Nursery. We also planted saltbush, fruit trees and native fruit trees. It was a great team effort! Well done to dedicated teachers Gail Ratcliffe & Sam Crook for all their hard work and to the students for getting in and having a go!
