Watershed Landcare is proud to host an evening which provides a unique opportunity for the women of our district to be entertained and inspired (before the mayhem of Christmas and school holidays!). Scrumptious, healthy food by Rachael McCarthy along with thought provoking advice and insights from Lyn Sykes and Dr. Carole Hungerford.

Lyn Sykes is a communications specialist whose focus is on enhancing the leadership skills of people, especially in the most critical area of all, communication. Lyn is passionate about seeing groups of people work productively together.  She’s lively, fun and always inspiring!

Dinner will be created and presented by Rachael McCarthy renowned for her fresh wholesome foods and beautiful flavours!

Dr. Carole Hungerford, general practitioner and celebrated author of “Good Health in the 21st Century”, champions a nutrition-based approach to wellness. Carole Hungerford works in medical practices in Balmain and Bathurst, delivers medical lectures and assists in the training of new doctors.

Published in 2006, Good Health in the 21st Century won the 2006 Brisbane Writers Festival award for Science Writing. She has since appeared regularly in several radio broadcasts, including a continuing presence on 4BC Brisbane. Carole is a passionate, provocative and entertaining speaker who will enthral you with a refreshingly different way to maintain wellbeing.

Cost is $20 for Watershed Landcare members, $30 for non-members (includes Watershed Landcare membership)
