Watershed Landcare has an ever-growing membership, currently 240.  The majority of these members live in the Mid-Western Regional Council area with about 30% being urban dwellers. A further 10% live in the Sydney region.

Members come from every walk of life and interest; some are large landholders, some are land managers for large properties; there are also medium and small landholders - operating a variety of agricultural businesses. Many of these also work off-farm in a range of occupations. Our urban members include both businesses and individuals interested in the care of land and our environment, whether private or public.

Our membership continues to grow and the management committee is committed to expanding the membership base to ensure a diverse and comprehensive representation of the region.

Who Can Join Watershed?

Anyone who has an interest in the more sustainable management and use of our natural resources and accepts the landcare ethic can join Watershed.

The Landcare Ethic: To protect our environment and way of life now and for the future generations, we must carefully manage our land, air, water and biodiversity.
